Educational programs to schedule
The National Facilities Management and Technology Conference/Exposition (NFM&T) returns to Baltimore in March 2004 with an expanded educational program that includes the most free conference sessions in the event's history. This three-day event, which has grown by 35% since its debut in 2001, addresses the facility management challenges of owners and operators of the nation's largest commercial and institutional buildings.
The event, which will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center, March 9-11, 2004, will include over 60 hours of seminars within seven educational tracks. Among the topics covered will be strategy, technology,, sustainable design and operations, safety and security, pulse, operations, and forecast.
Also introduced ,dill be "Walking The Green Talk," a freestanding, self guided exhibit that illustrates the technologies that make up a sustainable facility. The exhibit will be located in the Camden Lobby of the Baltimore Convention Center, in close proximity to NFM&T conference sessions. A variety of technologies and products will be discussed, including alternative energy, the building envelope, mechanical systems, lighting and daylighting, interiors, IAQ, and the building site itself.
